The spearhead is solid steel – not hollow – with a flattened-diamond cross-section point that is hollow-ground. It has a brass-ringed throat-collar and end piece. The spearhead is blunt, but can be easily sharpened. Mounted on a thick shaft of white waxwood, this is a superb quality spear, constructed with the traditional craftsmanship that built weapons for actual combat. Overall length is approx. 91 inch; spear head is approx. 9 inch.
